The Darbar has marked one year since its historic transition to digital operations, during which Gaddi applications, Nazarana pledges and ceremonial certificates have all been made available through what officials continue to refer to as "the website".
The Bureau of Pending Files reports that digitisation has had no measurable effect on the volume of pending files, which officials cite as evidence of the system's stability.
“A file may now be pending electronically. The pending itself is unchanged. This is the continuity our visitors value.”
The Darbar's fax machine has been retained and relocated to the main hall, where it is displayed on a plinth. It is not connected to anything.
